Cases of cyclosporiasis, a nasty parasitic infection that causes “explosive” watery diarrhea, have sickened dozens of people in Michigan and other parts of the United States.

This July 4th weekend, you may want to give those raw berries or green salad the side-eye.

The Ohio Department of Health reported this week that 177 cyclosporiasis cases have been confirmed statewide, with most occurring since June 20.
